About The Position
Packaging Engineer - Environmentally-Friendly Food Packaging Manufacturing Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin Well-established and busy Eco-Friendly Food Packaging Manufacturer seeking a hands-on Packaging Engineer to develop folding carton designs and produce physical samples. This role works with sales, customers, and production to create functional, cost-effective packaging from concept through manufacturing. This is a full-time, on-site position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Relocation assistance is available.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ArtiosCAD.
- Experience in folding carton design and hands-on sample making.
- Understanding of paperboard materials, die cutting, folding, and gluing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design folding cartons and create dielines using ArtiosCAD.
- Build and refine packaging samples and prototypes.
- Evaluate materials, fit, structural performance, and manufacturability.
- Prepare accurate drawings and specifications for production.
