About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Packaging Engineer Co-op for Summer 2027. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and gain hands-on experience in packaging engineering within a manufacturing environment. The co-op will support the Packaging Engineering Manager in addressing packaging issues, optimizing processes, and improving documentation.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to clearly communicate with various levels of employees and vendors.
• Must have own means of reliable Transportation and Communication.
• Must be able to work onsite in any Mfg. facility in and around New Bremen, OH.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Review Packaging Issues and assist in identifying solutions.
• Perform Time Studies/Packaging Process Observations & Reviews.
• Review or modify CAD Drawings.
• Develop, Implement, and Update Documentation.
• Work Closely with Production Employees to gather data.
