About The Position

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is offering an excellent opportunity for a Packaging Engineering Co-Op at our Princeton, NJ facility. This 6-month program, starting January 2027 and running through June 2027, provides exposure to leadership, professional development, networking events, and the chance to connect with students across various functions. The co-op will support one of three functional areas: Package Innovation (focusing on early phases of packaging development, ideas, consumer insights, concepts, and rough designs), Package Development (optimizing innovation functionality, costs, and equipment integration based on core technology platforms), or Package Technical Transfer (utilizing performance-based specifications and technology platform thinking to expedite package commercialization). The co-op will work in a project-based environment, with responsibilities including testing, documentation, and travel to plants and suppliers. They will have the opportunity to work in cross-functional teams and independently to implement solutions based on analytical data assessments.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of college coursework (rising Junior or rising Senior)
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging Science/Engineering, with packaging coursework completed
  • Ability and interest in working a hybrid schedule in Princeton, NJ
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn how to interface with different platforms, run reports, and engage with various company systems
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 applications required
  • Experience managing multiple timelines and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company
  • US Work Authorization (US Citizen, permanent resident, green card holder)

Nice To Haves

  • Co-op will be trained in specification systems, CAD, testing, or prototyping equipment as required.
