About The Position

The Packaging Coordinator is responsible for prioritizing out-of-stock lists for the development of daily packaging schedules, distributing these schedules to required workstations, and developing standardized packaging schedules based on trends of stock-keeping items. This role also involves verifying the completeness and accuracy of labeling paperwork, scanning and filing labeling documentation, and recording daily line case production to generate efficiencies. The coordinator reviews the uncovered orders report and creates the labeling schedule as requested by the Planner, monitors shipments of designated orders, and works with warehouse personnel to investigate discrepancies. Additionally, the position assists with processing transactions as needed, ensures the work area is kept neat and orderly, and completes monthly reports as requested. A strong working knowledge of procedures for maintaining label carton and glue inventories is required, along with adherence to common safety practices and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize Out of Stock lists for development of daily packaging schedules.
  • Distribute packaging schedules to required workstations.
  • Develop standardized packaging schedules based on trends of stock keeping items.
  • Verify paperwork is complete and accurate for Labeling and notify Labeling Supervisor of any errors or questions.
  • Scan and file Labeling documentation.
  • Record daily line case production to generate efficiencies.
  • Review uncovered orders report and create Labeling schedule as requested by the Planner.
  • Watch shipments of designated orders by Planner.
  • Work with Warehouse personnel to investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist with processing transactions as needed.
  • Ensure work area is kept neat and orderly in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
  • Complete monthly reports as requested by Production Planner or management.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of procedures for maintaining label carton and glue inventories.
  • Adhere to common safety practices and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
