As a Packaging team member, you will be integral to the manufacturing process by utilizing core skills in packaging and manufacturing. Packaging is responsible for preparing and packing orders for shipment. The Warehouse Packer selects products from the inventory, checks them for any damage, and then packs them into boxes or containers. They are also responsible for labeling packages with shipping information and ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

Requirements

  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to use a weight scale
  • Detail oriented regarding to part numbers and counting elements in a moving environment.
  • Able to work alone or with others to complete tasks.
  • Able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

  • Package items for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements
  • Inspect products for defects and damages before packaging
  • Ensure accurate labeling and documentation on all packages
  • Operate warehouse equipment, to move products and materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with inventory management by counting and reporting stock levels
  • Communicate with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Other responsibilities as needed.
