About The Position

The Packaging Associate assists with labeling and packaging activities inside and outside semi-classified areas. The role includes maintaining and operating production equipment and handling parts and supply inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures. The scheduled hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–2 years of related experience.
Ability to frequently lift or move materials and objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work overtime on weekends as needed.
Ability to take direction and meet production requirements after training.
Strong attention to detail.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
If needed, have prescription glasses within the first seven days of employment.
Ability to work positively and professionally with others and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and management.
Ability to take initiative, ask for and offer help when needed, and work independently without prompting.
Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
Ability to stand for periods of up to six hours per shift and frequently lift or move product materials during the shift.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up daily activities, including staging batches and materials.
Document work in batch records and logbooks.
Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing errors and deviations and completing corrections promptly.
Follow SOPs, cGMPs, and the manufacturing schedule.
Support inventory control by accurately documenting components and materials used on applicable paperwork.
Maintain equipment, operate production equipment, and handle parts and supply inventory according to procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
