About The Position

The Packaging Associate (identified in the description as Packaging Operator) safely and efficiently packages gummy vitamin products using advanced packaging equipment. The role supports manufacturing and warehouse processes through equipment operation and maintenance, monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting recurring equipment issues with guidance, quality documentation and checks, housekeeping and sanitation, material handling, and equipment changeovers and setups. The position requires work in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments and may involve overtime, shift work, weekends, or extended schedules based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
1–3 years of related machine operator experience.
Ability to work effectively with others in a diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

Learn and perform work associated with the safe operation and maintenance of manufacturing and warehouse equipment.
Monitor equipment parameters and controls to ensure production, warehouse, process, and quality specifications are met.
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to resolve common or recurring issues, with guidance.
Use production information, including MDI boards and electronic platforms, to manage daily operations.
Follow cGMP standards, complete paperwork and good documentation practices, and perform quality control checks.
Escalate safety, quality, compliance, and equipment issues; communicate operational needs and request additional support as needed.
Participate in housekeeping (5S), cleaning, and sanitation activities.
Operate material-handling equipment, including electric hand trucks, walk-along pallet lifts, and hoists.
Participate in equipment changeovers and setups, including cleaning and inspecting parts, reviewing checklists, and assisting with setup and start-up.
