About The Position

This role is responsible for handling and inspecting finished products for defects and packing them into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage. Packagers will assist Machine Operators in pulling product from machines and properly placing them to the correct boxes for shipping.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stretch, and squat
• Ability to reach above and below waist and shoulders
• Close vision
• Distance vision
• Peripheral vision
• Ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

• Handling and inspecting finished products for defects
• Packing products into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage
• Assisting Machine Operators in pulling product from machines
• Properly placing products into correct boxes for shipping
• Lifting up to 40lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Checking product for quality
• Bending, stretching and squatting
• Discarding damaged product
• Reaching above and below waist and shoulders
