About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Packager. This position will be responsible for supporting packaging production by maintaining proper table setup and people training. Associated with part packaging along with Q.A. as required by Ameristar. This will be a 1st shift position; Monday - Thursday 4:00am - 2:30pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 plus years packaging experience
• Act responsibly and professional in all dealings with Ameristar employees.
• Demonstrates “Passion” for Ameristar policy job responsibilities and for overall success of the company.
• Demonstrates “Respect and Loyalty” to direct supervisor, team members and all Ameristar Mgmt.
• Actively participates in departmental team building, meetings.
• Provides accurate reporting of daily production.
• Demonstrates ability to provide product and services of exceptional quality.
• Self-starter able to carry out task with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area.
• Provide leadership by example For All Employees.
• Coach employees in policy’s procedure.
• Meet with and work with table lead daily to assess needs to support todays and future production.
• Plan daily packaging activities geared towards schedule attainment.
• Turn in daily work orders accurately at the end of each item run in the event table lead is absent.
• Review materials needed daily and notify lead person of shortfalls in product and materials ASAP in the event table lead is absent.
• Actively participate in process improvement projects geared toward cost saving in labor and materials.
