About The Position
Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a Packager to join our production team. This role involves packaging steel coils and sheets in an industrial flat-rolled steel production environment. The Packager will meet customer-specific packaging requirements with an emphasis on measurement, quality control, and finished product inspection. At all times, the Packager must adhere to Taylor's Steel safety and personal protective equipment policies.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on Mechanical ability
- Previous manufacturing and/or industrial packager experience
- Experience in the steel sector
Responsibilities
- Package steel coils and sheets in an industrial flat-rolled steel production environment
- Meet customer specific packaging requirements with emphasis on measurement, quality control and finished product inspection
