About The Position

Eclectic Products, an Arclin WVCO brand, is seeking a dependable Packager Machine Operator to join their Pineville, LA team. This role is for a hands-on, mechanically minded individual who enjoys working with equipment and solving problems. The operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. This position offers opportunities to develop equipment skills, learn new processes, and make a direct impact on the manufacturing operation's success. The company is looking for individuals who take pride in keeping equipment running and are eager to contribute to a production team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of six (6) months of related experience/training in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the job
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependability and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Applicants must be able to pass a background check, drug and alcohol screen.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging and filling equipment.
• Set up machines and perform changeovers for different tube sizes.
• Make machine adjustments to keep production running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and help resolve problems.
• Ensure the correct materials are loaded into the appropriate machines.
• Clean and maintain equipment and your work area.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of our production and piping systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and products.
• Develop your skills across multiple levels of machine operation.

Benefits

• Retention bonus of $2,000.00 pre-tax after a year of employment. $1,000.00 pre-tax after six months and the remaining amount after the following six months.
