About The Position

This opening is part of Infineon’s Graduate Program. The Graduate Program gives you the opportunity to gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced leaders to power your career. In your new role you will lead design, material selection, qualification, and new product introduction for the HiRel Package Group. You will manage projects through prototype builds, learning cycles, and qualification builds, ensuring designs meet quality and reliability criteria for HiRel applications. You will also develop and sustain design rules, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards, and partner with the package design team to release robust and reliable packages to production. Additionally, you will promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and resilience within the packaging team.

Requirements

  • Graduating in the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 with a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of process flows, upstream and downstream interactions, and design of experiments (DOE)
  • Ability to identify unexpected issues, drive root-cause analysis, and persevere until closure
  • Experience in data analysis and continuous process improvement
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as a team player and self-starter
  • US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).
