PM PACKAGE HANDLER
About The Position
GLS US is seeking package handlers to support its parcel delivery operations. Package handlers are front-line employees who sort packages into the correct routes to help ensure timely delivery. They work as part of a team to complete behind-the-scenes operations safely and successfully, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and working at a fast pace. The role involves scanning and sorting packages, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Employees must follow warehouse safety rules and guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be willing to follow instructions and accept supervision.
- Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
- Scan and/or sort packages.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Comply with warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
