About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations at its Mount Prospect, Illinois location. The Package Handler contributes to smooth warehouse operations by maintaining quality and following safety protocols. This role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading trucks for delivery. Teamwork is important, and all employees work together to complete the job.

The position is scheduled five days per week, with seven-day availability required. The listed shift is 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM or until the sort is complete, including required sort work and cleanup as directed by site management. Hours may vary based on business needs. The warehouse may be hot or cold depending on the season.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to remain on your feet while working.
• Be able to work in warehouse heat and cold as temperatures vary by season.
• Be able to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers.
• Sort packages by ZIP code.
• Load trucks for deliveries.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe, productive work environment.
• Work cooperatively with the team.
