As a Package Handler, the role involves creating stellar first impressions and personalizing interactions with residents. It is a physical, fast-paced position requiring a high degree of professionalism, customer care, and integrity.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Must have personal/reliable transportation to get to work
- Ability to continually lift, lower, and carry packages that typically weigh 25 – 75 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Continuously lifting, lowering, carrying, and delivering a lot of packages to our resident’s apartment homes
- Reviewing shipping invoices and performing package audits
- Processing all incoming packages and maintaining daily log; documenting, tracking, and delivering within 24 hours of receipt
- Organizing and maintaining package rooms
- Solving problems and providing timely assistance to residents with care
- Engaging people in meaningful conversations that demonstrate your concern and genuine desire to make them feel at home
- Jumping in and covering for team members when needed
- Seeking out opportunities to enhance the customer’s experience
