About The Position

The Server position at The Crestone Senior Living, an Arrow Senior Living community, is a part-time role focused on creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include greeting residents, preparing for meal service, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and observing residents' dietary habits and attendance. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 senior living communities across 6 states, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and emphasizes a home-like environment for both residents and team members, with opportunities for internal promotion.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
  • Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents
  • Will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome
  • Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect
  • Prep tables for service
  • Prep salads for the next meal
  • Roll silverware
  • Buss tables
  • Sweep floors
  • Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed
  • Communicate when residents are absent from meals
