About The Position

This position is for a Server at The Parkway Senior Living, a community managed by Arrow Senior Living, which provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 25 properties in 5 states. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, preparing for meal services, and maintaining a tidy dining environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents
- Will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
- Must be criminally cleared
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect
- Prep tables for service
- Prep salads for meals
- Roll silverware
- Bus tables
- Sweep floors
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Assist persons after a fall
