About The Position

The Package Finishing Supervisor is a hands-on working lead responsible for quality, efficiency, and team success across finishing operations. The role combines operating die cutters and folder/gluers with coordinating daily production priorities, coaching operators, and supporting client CAD package design and sampling. The supervisor provides day-to-day direction to finishing personnel, plans workflow, supports staffing and personnel processes, and works collaboratively with press, prepress, shipping, and customer service teams. The position also reviews structural packaging specifications, creates manufacturable designs and physical CAD samples, enforces safety standards, performs routine equipment maintenance, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement. The position works Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional weekend work. Overtime and adjusted shift hours may be needed as production volume requires. It involves extensive shop-floor activity, including standing and walking for most of the shift, handling materials, operating and adjusting equipment, and periodic computer work for CAD design, scheduling, and production tracking. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential physical functions.
