Spanning nearly 480,000 square feet, this facility will produce approximately 6 million pounds of leafy greens annually.

Requirements

  • 1 + years of experience in a production environment or related work experience
  • Training in Food Safety and Sanitation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, safety rules, label mixing instructions
  • Ability to fulfill routine logs related to food safety and inspection reports, either in paperwork or digital form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers

Nice To Haves

  • Food or agriculture industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pack crew in daily operations to ensure daily plan and goals are met, corrects errors and provides feedback when needed
  • Train and educate crew in operating procedures with emphasis on safety and food safety
  • Adhere to all current SOP’s, procedures, inspections, and quality requirements
  • Communicate with supervisor when irregularities with product or equipment occur
  • Create daily packaging plan under guidance of supervisor and make decisions as instructed
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of performed testing and recording charts are properly documented according to company and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure pack crew maintains a safe, clean, organized work area and performs periodic sanitation as required
  • Report food safety and quality problems to Supervisor, the SQF Practitioner or directly to Senior Management.
