Requirements

  • Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience.
  • Valid Class 1/AZ license.
  • U.S. qualified.
  • Fast card eligible.
  • Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experience.
  • Reefer experience.
  • Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional work might be available upon request.
  • Regional work will be required.
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Values safety.

Responsibilities

  • Be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time.
  • Run primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and California with an Average of 2,500 miles per week.
  • Drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year.
  • Haul containers to and from the rail yards.
  • Haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
  • Haul CP rail containers.
  • Work weekends.
  • Lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Provide driver assist on occasion.
