About The Position
Founded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience driving a company vehicle, required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to plan, prioritize and follow-up on/delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving passengers, highly preferred
- Experience working in scheduling data bases, preferred
- Experience working with the frail or elderly population, preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), preferred
Responsibilities
- Transportation of PACE program participants using company-owned vehicles.
- May be required to transport DME meals or other items as needed.
- Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles.
- Some participant care including transfers, wheelchair mobility and toileting may be required.
- Acting as escort for appointments when appropriate.
