The PACE Activities Specialist is responsible for developing and facilitating recreational groups and programs which meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of the participants, both individually and collectively. This role involves conducting assessments, developing therapeutic programs, documenting progress, and participating as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. The specialist will also serve as a resource to staff, coordinate volunteer activities, and foster a sense of community within the center. Additionally, they will coordinate with community resources and create activities to help participants restore their level of functioning and independence.
