Requirements

  • Current Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide or Certified Nurse Aide certification in good standing, as required for assigned duties.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current Food Handler certification or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, food service, or direct care is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports meal preparation, meal service, sanitation, and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Provides supplemental Certified Nurse Aide support in the center, as directed by the PACE Site Director or licensed nursing staff and within the employee's certification, demonstrated competencies, and participant plans of care.
  • Coordinates dietary and participant-care assignments to ensure required meal-service duties, food-safety standards, infection-prevention requirements, and participant needs are met.
  • Works collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and center staff.
  • Maintains participant dignity, safety, and confidentiality in all assigned duties.
