About The Position

Responsible for supporting the mission of PacificSource, solicit enrollments into PacificSource’s PACE Program through the direct distribution channel. Identify and build referral relationships with community-based organizations that serve and influence the Medicare and Medicaid population.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of health care customer service, enrollment, or sales experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensed driver required.
  • Ability to gain a thorough understanding of PacificSource products, internal procedures, and the competitive environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations.
  • Familiarity with available Medicare and Medicaid healthcare plans.
  • Ability to read and comprehend both written and spoken English.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in health care sales or community engagement experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current Department of Insurance Health and Life licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing members and key stakeholders in the community and generate referrals to help bring in new members to meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets.
  • Participate in community outreach events and meetings to generate referrals.
  • With the PACE leadership team develop and execute enrollment strategies for new target markets.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with the PACE Intake Specialist in all aspects of PACE outreach for efficient, positive, and friendly enrollment process.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with PACE site operations team members and PACE IDT as needed to cultivate and create visibility and a positive perspective of the PACE program in Lane County.
  • Coordinate and participate in all aspects of the enrollment process as needed to ensure timely enrollment.
  • Complete all data collection and mandated paperwork, adhering to all CMS and ODHS regulations and guidelines for PACE.
  • Maintain up to date database information on all enrollment and outreach efforts.
  • Foster referral relationships with local Adults & Persons with Disabilities leaders, Senior Centers and Community Based Care settings including: Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Foster Homes, Memory Care Units and Residential Care Facilities.
  • Consistently meet all minimum activity and enrollment standards as outlined by management.
  • Work closely with prospective and current participants and members.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate responses to needs and requests.
  • Responsible for representing the entire staff in the marketplace through expertise, reliability and professionalism.
  • Interact with all departments and employees at PacificSource in the course of business.
  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
  • Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  • Operate in compliance with CMS PACE and Medicare’s Marketing Guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
