The PACE Administrative Intern provides administrative and operational support while gaining hands-on experience in one of the nation's most innovative healthcare delivery models. Working alongside leadership and interdisciplinary teams, interns gain exposure to healthcare operations, quality improvement, participant care coordination, regulatory compliance, and organizational management. Responsibilities may include organizing participant records, coordinating meetings, assisting with data collection and reporting, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting operational projects, and facilitating communication among clinical and administrative departments. Interns will also have opportunities to observe interdisciplinary team meetings, learn about participant-centered care planning, and contribute to projects that improve organizational performance and participant outcomes. PACE Administration Interns are introduced to healthcare compliance, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement initiatives. They may assist with tracking regulatory requirements, reviewing documentation for accuracy, supporting audit readiness, analyzing operational data, and participating in quality improvement activities. Throughout the internship, students develop professional skills in healthcare administration, leadership, communication, project coordination, and problem-solving while gaining valuable insight into the PACE model and integrated care delivery.
