About The Position

Physical Therapy Outpatient - Duval St. Lexington PRN PAC/ PT Tech Baptist Health Medical Group has repeatedly been named a “Best Place to Work” in Kentucky and we are looking for an energetic & qualified candidate to join our family. The Physical Therapy Technician works only under onsite supervision of a PT or PTA. Will perform specific patient treatments as directed by the therapist, prepare the patient and/or treatment area, responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department, and with clerical duties as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of on the job training, including initial and annual competency training/demonstration.
• Successful completion and maintenance of BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Transfers and positions patients appropriately.
• Maintains physical order of the department.
• Cleans equipment following each patient use and processes trash and linen appropriately.
• Assists with the clerical duties as needed.
• Responds to staff requests promptly.
• Assists other support staff in order to promote an efficient delivery of PT services.
