Under direct or general supervision, assists in conducting activities in connection with recreation and community services programs of a recreational facility; performs related work as necessary. This role involves assisting in developing and coordinating recreational activities, events, programs, and classes. Responsibilities include event set-up, break-down, and clean-up, potentially lifting up to 50lbs. The role also involves setting up and managing audio/video equipment, monitoring facility and program safety, assisting with office duties such as research, data entry, report generation, and filing, and managing facility reservations. Additionally, the position requires registering residents for classes and programs, collecting fees, providing excellent customer service, building relationships with residents, and working effectively in a team environment. Basic custodial services, opening and closing facilities as scheduled, and assisting security and compliance departments are also part of the duties. For Fitness Centers, the role includes greeting members, coordinating fitness programs, and monitoring safety. Regular attendance and on-site work are required. The employee must work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas constructively, listening to suggestions, keeping commitments, informing others of progress, addressing problems practically, respecting diversity, and addressing others respectfully.
