As a P&L Operator, you'll play an essential role in supporting our food safety programs and ensuring the efficient processing, packaging, shipping, receiving, and transfer of products while maintaining a clean, safe, and pest-free facility. As a P&L Operator, you'll help ensure the safe and efficient movement of products throughout the facility while supporting sanitation, maintenance, and food safety initiatives that keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in flour milling, food processing, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred.
  • Previous truck driving experience and CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Following all food safety, quality, and personal safety regulations, including GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and company sanitation standards.
  • Maintaining the department and facility in an audit-ready condition.
  • Completing general sanitation tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, washing, and facility clean-up.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs, including packer changeovers and inspections of forklifts and yard tractors.
  • Transferring, packing, loading, and unloading flour and feed products using required equipment.
  • Loading bulk and bagged flour onto trucks and railcars.
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Completing required production, shipping, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Supporting shipping and receiving activities for inbound and outbound materials.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
