Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS and Total Rewards, the P&C Systems & Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Organigram's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), while providing reporting and analytical support for Total Rewards programs. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, producing HR and business reports, supporting HRIS functionality. The Analyst will work closely with People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate employee data, efficient HR processes, and reliable reporting. The role also provides backup support to payroll processes and assists with system testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR analytics, payroll, HR operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with an HRIS platform (Dayforce experience considered an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
  • Experience creating reports and working with large datasets.
  • Exposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes or working closely with payroll teams is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR, payroll, workforce, and Total Rewards reports.
  • Create dashboards and data visualizations to support organizational decision-making.
  • Analyze workforce data and identify trends related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and other HR metrics.
  • Validate report accuracy and ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and support the HRIS platform, ensuring employee data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with established processes.
  • Perform regular audits and validation of HR data to identify discrepancies and ensure data quality.
  • Support HRIS configuration, testing, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives with a added focus on Timesheets and Schedules.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required.
  • Assist with system maintenance activities, including security role reviews, workflow updates, and process documentation.
  • Provide day-to-day HRIS support to end users and respond to system-related inquiries.
  • Create and maintain user guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing activities as required.
  • Occasionally assist with payroll data validation, auditing, and reconciliation.
  • Support year-end and periodic payroll-related reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HRIS processes, reporting capabilities, and system utilization.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in HRIS projects and testing activities as assigned.
  • Other duties as required.
