About The Position
Aquatrans Distributors requires experienced Owner Operators for work based out of our Vancouver Island lanes. As an Owner Operator for Aquatrans you will be operating on the Vancouver Island. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances for our Reefer division.
Requirements
- Class 1 drivers’ license
- 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Verbal and written communication in English
- Must have a reliable cellphone to operate Samsara
- Safety conscious and safe operator
- Equipment must be 2012 or newer
Responsibilities
- Pre-trip and post trip inspection
- Maintain accurate driver logs
- Operate truck and trailer in safety minded way
- Report vehicle deficiencies
- Highway work required
- Transport various goods across Vancouver Island
