About The Position

We are looking for an Owner Operator (Courier) with their own vehicle and based out of Richmond. Servicing Downtown Vancouver. Approximately 90-120 stops per day, 0 - 160kms.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Driver's License at all times, no more than four (4) demerit points
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Possession of liability insurance and all other licenses as required by law and Purolator specifications.
• Valid WCB registration and coverage for Owner Operator and Relief Driver.
• Must possess a valid Dangerous Goods Handling Certificate.
• Complete a criminal record check.
• Vehicle required – Full sized van, 2021 or newer
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs
• Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ability to pick-up and deliver all packages associated with the route area or as required.
• Must supply own vehicle and maintain appearance and operation at highest industry standards.
• Must meet and maintain standards set by Purolator Inc.
• Maintain membership with Teamster’s Canada.
