About The Position

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with a 26' box truck in Raleigh, NC. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes! We are seeking a driver to run Monday-Friday picking up at 7am daily and delivering straight thru from Raleigh NC to Greenville NC, dock to dock. Two times per week there will be a stop off in Rocky Mount, NC. This is a dedicated lane with an average of 8 pallets weighing less than 5,000lbs. You will be required to load and unload the palletized freight using a pallet jack at pickup and delivery points. You must own/lease your 26' box truck and have verifiable active DOT authority with the FMCSA.

Requirements

• Own/lease your 26' box truck.
• Verifiable active DOT authority with the FMCSA.
• Meet insurance requirements: $1 million CGL, $1 million auto, $100k motor cargo.
• Meet background and drug screening requirements.
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Pick up freight and deliver to designated locations.
• Operate a pallet jack to load/unload freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
