About The Position
Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital at Creve Coeur is hiring a full-time Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our founding team for a new location opening in August 2026. This role is crucial in supporting veterinarians with patient care, including exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners. This position involves safely handling and restraining animals, performing technical duties, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a clean and stocked environment, all while adhering to hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of veterinary experience is required.
- Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
- Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.

- Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
- Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
