Under the supervision of the Management team, the Overnight Supervisor provides daily direction to the Outfitters on the overnight shift within the retail store, to include: sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management and price change execution. The Overnight Supervisor delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and follow up to ensure proper execution. They ensure adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed. They maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. They ensure nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries. They support inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight. They support the Management team with coordination of all “Special Events”; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing and pricing of all advertised items. They support the Management team in carrying out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems, maintaining a positive, harassment free working environment for all associates. They assist the Management team and Human Resources Representative to staff the department with “service” oriented associates; participate in interviewing and make recommendations for selection; coordinate training; consult with the Management team and give input on preparation of performance appraisals; prepare weekly work schedules; coach and motivate associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment. They ensure all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
