About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and placing it on the correct shelf using the location codes provided on the boxes. The process is repeated until the assigned area is finished. The posting also describes a Food Clerk role within Meijer’s Fresh departments. Food Clerks help create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, following food safety procedures, and supporting store operations across several departments.

Responsibilities

Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery departments.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
