About The Position

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Overnight Stocker Clerks. This part-time role is crucial for maintaining our club's inventory and presentation, ensuring our members have access to fully stocked shelves and a clean shopping environment. You will be responsible for stocking, rotating, and storing merchandise, ensuring all items are clearly labeled and readily available. Requirements

• Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club.
• Ensures that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked.
• Maintains the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.
• Carries out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
• Supports the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
• Ensures a safe and positive environment for our members and each other.
• Works as a team to achieve goals.
• Delivers service excellence through all points of contact.
• Resolves and deescalates to address every member concern.
• Ensures a safe and positive environment and experience for the members.
• Works as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
• Works with commitment and pride to deliver GOLD - Grand opening look daily.
• Ensures all items are stocked and promotional plans are executed.
• Maintains visible accurate signage.
• Ensures the club is clean and organized, inside and out.
• Understands how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.
• Maintains display signage for all products.
• Creates labels and/or applies merchandise sales tags to items.
• Ensures all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
