About The Position

This role involves supervising overnight operations for individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. The supervisor will implement house rules, transport clients, collaborate with treatment teams, and ensure documentation is complete. They will act as a liaison between clinical and housing staff, assist the Program Manager with administrative tasks, and help train new hires. The position requires flexible scheduling and availability for PRN needs, including finding coverage for call-outs and establishing shift structures. Mandatory meetings must be attended virtually if outside scheduled shifts, and this time will be paid. The role demands exceptional client communication and de-escalation skills, the ability to work well with others, and support training for other CA's. The supervisor will also assist in maintaining the facility's environment of care, stocking supplies, and ensuring it meets standards, serving as a direct contact for housing staff.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Must be minimum 21 years of age.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbs
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (preferred- will be required to obtain)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)
  • Current TB test (will be required to obtain)
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health experience.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Behavioral health: 2 years (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience preferred.
  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Aid individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals.
  • Implement house rules.
  • Transporting clients.
  • Collaborate with additional needed treatment.
  • Ensure necessary documentation is complete.
  • Act as a Liaison for clinical & housing staff. Keeping communication open between the clinical team, daytime housing staff, and nighttime housing staff.
  • Assisting Program Manager with Monthly Binder Updates and Audits/Fire Drills/and Facility Inspections
  • Assist with orientation and training for new hire CA's.
  • Assisting in finding coverage for call outs.
  • Establishing a shift structure for assigned shifts.
  • Must attend mandatory meetings virtually if they are outside of your scheduled shifts (paid).
  • Demonstrates an exceptional ability for client communication and de-escalation.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work well with others and offer additional training support if it is needed for other CA's
  • Assists Program Manager in keeping up with environment of care, making sure supplies stay stocked throughout the house and the facility is up to Avery's House standards.
  • Works closely with the Program manager as a direct contact for housing staff.
