About The Position

The main duties of the Overnight Security officer are to control the access and egress to and from areas of the Hotel and Residences which are under Four Seasons supervision. This includes protecting company assets from theft, fire, damage and assisting in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all persons in the location. The Overnight Security Officer forms part of the Security Team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This department establishes, promotes and maintains the Hotel’s security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day. The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

Requirements

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Valid US work authorization.

Nice To Haves

CPR, first aid and fire prevention experience.

Responsibilities

Control the access and egress to and from areas of the Hotel and Residences.
Protect company assets from theft, fire, and damage.
Assist in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all persons in the location.
Actively participate in the day-to-day security operations of the property.
Patrol the interior and exterior of the hotel and confront any situations or persons that require investigation.
Handle and document accidents and any questionable individuals on the premises.
Implement all policies, procedures and instructions regarding security and safety.
Assist in implementing preventive safety and security programs.
Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities and insurance requirements, remaining objective and writing comprehensive reports.
