About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and professional Overnight Security Officer to provide security services at a residential apartment community. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and property staff during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is observant, proactive, and able to handle situations calmly while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred
Must live within 20 miles of ZIP code 77054
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts

Nice To Haves

Experience in residential or apartment community security
Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
Familiarity with report writing and mobile reporting apps

Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols of the property, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter
Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and resident concerns
Enforce community rules and property policies in a professional manner
Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
Document all patrols, incidents, and daily activity reports accurately
Communicate effectively with residents, management, and team members
