About The Position

Elite Security & Staffing is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at a respected retirement community in Escondido. This full-time position offers a set schedule with a pay rate of $20.00/hour. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a visible security presence through continuous foot patrols, monitoring and protecting client property, responding to incidents, completing detailed reports using GuardPro, and communicating clearly with management and residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, comfortable working independently overnight, calm under pressure, and passionate about safety and customer service.

Requirements

Active California Guard Card required.
BSIS PTA Certificate and required training documentation required.
CPR Certification required (must provide proof).
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Authorized to work in the United States with valid identification.

Nice To Haves

Experience with GuardPro reporting system preferred.
Candidates living in Escondido or North San Diego County are encouraged to apply.
