About The Position

The Overnight Security Associate is responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times. This role involves maintaining a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services, ensuring proper building safety and security measures are followed, and staying informed about events in the city and county. The associate will also handle guest requests, answer telephones professionally, and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements

• Two years related experience and/or training
• Possess excellent verbal and people skills
• The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to follow established security policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail in monitoring hotel assets and documenting activities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in security or related field is preferred.
• Security certification is preferred.

Responsibilities
