About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking Seasonal Overnight Associates to assist with unloading, processing, and stocking merchandise. This role is physically active and fast-paced, requiring individuals to unpack, sort, stock, and recover merchandise efficiently. The store operates shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with rotating weekend and holiday work required (exceptions for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve). The pay rate is $13.25 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for overnight work, totaling $14.25 per hour. Employees receive two 15-minute paid breaks and a 45-minute paid lunch break.

Responsibilities

Unloading, processing, and stocking merchandise.
Unpacking, sorting, stocking, and recovering merchandise.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Modeling established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Supporting and embodying a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customers.
Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
Performing other duties as assigned.
