About The Position

Addiction Recovery Care, LLC (ARC) is seeking an Overnight Security Staff member for their Bellefonte Psychiatric Hospital & Detox Unit. The Security staff play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff by monitoring the campus, responding to suspicious activities, and maintaining security protocols. Requirements

High school graduate or GED required
Excellent communication skills.
Analytical and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and organization a must

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience as a security guard or related position is preferred
Mental Health field experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities
Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds
Provides constant monitoring of vehicular and pedestrian traffic throughout the campus
Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property
Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives
Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises
Maintains written log of all security related incidents and their dispositions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
