The Safety & Security Officer is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, assisting guests with room access, and monitoring various security systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems. This role involves locking property entrances, conducting daily physical hazard inspections, responding to accidents, and administering first aid or CPR as needed. The officer will assist guests and associates during emergencies, notify appropriate individuals of incidents, and de-escalate disturbances. Responsibilities also include completing incident reports, handling interruptions and complaints, resolving safety hazards, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. The role requires reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts, using proper code responses, and completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report. Maintaining confidentiality of all reports and documents, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and interviewing relevant parties are also key aspects of this position.
