Overnight Receptionist / Front Desk Security - Healthcare setting
About The Position
The Terrace is a skilled nursing facility that cares for older adults who need extra support. Some residents are there for short-term recovery after surgery or illness, while others live there long-term, including those with Alzheimer’s or memory loss. The Overnight Shift Security Officer will be the first line of security at the employee entrance and front door, performing functions similar to a "Welcome" (reception) desk. This role involves checking in employees, conducting security rounds, performing clerical tasks, and managing phone lines for the Skilled Nursing Facility. It is a combination of Security Officer and Customer Service responsibilities.
Requirements
- Strong Written and verbal English communication skills are required
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check
Nice To Haves
- Prior Experience in a Healthcare or Medical setting is preferred
- Prior experience as an overnight security officer is strongly desired
