As a Security Officer - Healthcare Setting in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting security-related activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, entry procedures, and reporting of suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with site personnel and first responders as needed and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily operations.
