About The Position

The Overnight Laundry Attendant is responsible for operating commercial laundry equipment and processing hotel linens, terry, robes, and guest laundry to Cabot Revelstoke Mountain Lodge's luxury standards during overnight operations. This role ensures an adequate supply of clean, high-quality linens is available to support daily hotel operations. The Overnight Laundry Attendant works independently, maintains productivity throughout the shift, and takes pride in delivering quality results in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or production experience is an asset; however, no experience is required as full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, press equipment, and folding machines safely and efficiently.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and organize linens, towels, robes, and other hotel laundry items.
  • Follow established processing procedures to ensure linen quality and consistency.
  • Maintain production levels to support daily operational requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute clean linens to designated storage areas.
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, and wear.
  • Remove damaged or unusable linens from circulation and report concerns to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate linen organization and stock levels.
  • Assist with linen counts and inventory control as required.
  • Keep laundry equipment, workstations, and storage areas clean and organized.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
  • Follow all WHMIS guidelines and safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
  • Assist with routine cleaning and upkeep of the laundry facility.
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping leadership regarding linen inventories, shortages, and operational concerns.
  • Support overall departmental goals related to quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
