PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is expanding its ICU and is seeking a skilled, driven Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician. Requirements

  • A Veterinary Technician with 3+ years veterinary experience who takes pride in exceptional patient care
  • Curious, motivated, and eager to keep learning

  • Comfortable meeting challenges head-on in a critical care setting
  • Someone who values a supportive, respectful workplace
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced nursing care for ICU, surgical, internal medicine, urgent care, oncology, and cardiac patients
  • Monitor and triage critical cases; track vitals and recognize subtle changes
  • Administer medications, calculate dosages, place catheters, manage fluids, and provide nutritional support
  • Collect and prepare diagnostic samples for in-house labs
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
  • Maintain thorough, accurate medical records
  • Support inventory tracking for medications and equipment
