About The Position

The DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and driven Overnight Houseperson to join their team. Requirements

1 to 3 months related experience or training in housekeeping
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

General cleaning of assigned areas including the lobby, restrooms, offices, corridors, banquet areas, elevators, stairways, entranceways, pool facilities, exercise room, associate break areas, and outside areas.
Collecting soiled linens from housekeeping carts and transporting them to the laundry for sorting.
Delivering linen, terry, and other guest room supplies to housekeepers.
Assisting in the delivery and setup of cots, cribs, and other guest-related supplies.
Collecting trash from housekeeping carts and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
Checking all fixtures, equipment, and facility conditions (lights, toilets, water temperature, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings, and maintenance, and reporting deficiencies.
Maintaining housekeeping storage closets in proper supply level, organization, and cleanliness.
Assisting in stripping of guest room beds as needed.
Ensuring hotel amenities and supplies are placed appropriately throughout the hotel, such as pool towels, vases, paper supplies, notepads, and pens.
Performing special deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
Moving furniture, hanging and removing drapes, and rolling carpets as needed.
Assisting with snow removal, including brushing off cars, shoveling, and salting walkways as necessary.
Replacing light bulbs as needed.
