About The Position

Hotel Per LA is seeking an Overnight Houseperson for its independent, luxury lifestyle property located in Downtown Los Angeles. This role is part of the Sage Hospitality Group, a company dedicated to delivering artful hospitality at its luxury lifestyle flagship hotel and restaurant. The hotel is situated in a gorgeously restored historic building, conveniently located near the Museum of Contemporary Art, Disney Concert Hall, and Grand Central Market. The property is known for its stunning design, unique hidden corners, and a blend of LA's glamour with a playful spirit. The public areas are designed to be a welcoming space for locals and guests alike, attracting creatives and those interested in the city's cultural institutions, culinary scene, or arena events. The hotel offers chic guestrooms with a vintage aesthetic and custom furniture, a new restaurant concept (Per L'Ora), a café (Cafe Ora), and a rooftop pool terrace and lounge (Bar Clara).

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Houseperson or in a similar housekeeping role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all guest areas are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries related to housekeeping services.
• Restock and replenish amenities and supplies in public areas.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards.
